It is important to note that your results will be treated with the utmost confidentiality and will only be accessible to you. However, if you wish, you may also designate a second individual to receive the results by indicating this preference on the Result Notification Form.
COLLECT SAMPLES WITH A MAKE YOUR OWN KIT: With this Make Your Own Kit, you will not receive anything in the mail. Instead, you will collect your samples and send them into the lab directly. This can be a more cost-effective option and will also ensure you receive your results even faster than our standard kit.
RETURNING DNA SAMPLES: We recommend using a tracked mail service such as USPS Priority Mail, FedEx, or UPS. For even faster results, you can overnight the samples to our lab. The shipping cost to return your DNA samples back to our lab is not included; this will be at your own expense. Once our lab receives the properly collected DNA samples and Result Notification Form, we will email confirmation that samples have been received. You can expect your results to be emailed within 7-10 business days.
